GIVE TO THE AAIB SCHOLARS.
They receive funding for tuition, textbooks, and other educational needs at an accredited college or university as well as ongoing guidance from the program. AAIB Scholars overcome great odds to compete under USA Boxing, qualify fo the Olympic Trials, and work in fields like medicine, public health, and architecture.
The AAIB has presented over seventy scholarships since their creation in 1993. Eleven scholarships totaling $29,000 were awarded in 2018. The number of scholarships we give in 2022 is up to you.

The AAIB Mission
The American Association for the Improvement of Boxing is a 501(c)(4) organization founded in 1969 by Rocky Marciano and Stephen B. Acunto for the social welfare of boxers in the United States. Through the AAIB Boxers Assistance Corporation, a 501(c)(3) organization, the AAIB provides scholarships to amateur boxers accepted by an accredited college or university. Each entity is comprised solely of volunteers.
A variety of private, governmental, and institutional sources provide financial aid to American students based on academics, athletics, and need. Popular sports like football and basketball produce numerous scholarships, while collegiate boxing programs are rare and their scholarships are nonexistent. Over the last four years, the AAIB countered this trend with approximately $100,000 awarded to boxers for their higher education.
